The prize seeks to recognise researchers who have developed innovative advances with translational potential to impact women’s health.
The Bio-innovation Institute (BII) and Science Translational Medicine introduced a new annual prize to celebrate scientists whose research has advanced translation and innovation to address high unmet medical needs in the underserved fields of women’s health.
Eligibility
Researchers at any career stage who have completed their PhD, MD or MD/PhD training.
Contributions within any area of women’s health will be considered
These may cover work in areas of female-specific conditions, including maternal health and chronic gynaecological diseases, reproductive health including: contraception and infertility affecting all persons or elucidation of gender-specific approaches to conditions which affect women differently or disproportionately; Any condition affecting individuals identifying as women including persons assigned as female at birth, transgender and non-binary.
The golden award ceremony will be held in Denmark and the prize is USD $25 000
